Snapped these beauties on the weekend. Amazing don't you think?
There's nothing quite like flowers to bring a little happiness to my office. This gorgeous arrangement arrived this morning from two wonderful friends of mine, Jason and Cynthia.
It's the birthday that just keeps on giving… a big thank you to you both xx
Happy Monday

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend 🙂
I spent mine in Sydney with Amanda and Colin and what a fun time we had! It was the last of my birthday celebrations (shame it doesn't last for three weeks every year!) and they surprised me with a huge set of copper based pots and pans – love them!
I then suprised Amanda with our very own matching black vintage bicycles…we've been wanting them for like EVER. We picked them up on Saturday from Reid Cycles in Newtown before heading home for mexican and margueritas. Delicious!
Weather permitting I'll be out and about on mine this weekend, so stay tuned for some photos 🙂
30 eve
So, in all honesty I didn't quite complete all of my thirty before 30 tasks. Meh. These are the ones I have left…
2. Go to the cinema
3. Organise my wardrobes
9. Donate something to charity
11. Make a winter-warmer soup
18. Finish my jewelry organisers
Let's face it, 2. never stood a chance.
If I'd gotten around to 3. I'd have then had a whopping load to give to 9.
11. seemed like a wonderful solution to my dismal lunches of late, but dismal marched on.
And 18….so close, so very close. Almost done with the last of the frame sanding (oh how it pains me!) and now just waiting for a nice dry day to paint.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend xx
Stitch away a Saturday
Can I just start by saying how good it felt to set the machine up on Saturday and sew. It has been so long since I've had a spare weekend (possibly not since March…whoa!).
So this is the quilt I snapped way back here. I know, shame on me. After it was pinned I just lost focus.
Until now…I'm back.
The La Petite Ecole fabric range by French General is one of my all time favourites and I can't wait to see this baby finished.
Wintery beach walk
Sorry it's been a while peeps…have had a lot going on the past few days and have also been feeling a little under the weather with tonsilitis.
Amanda came up for the weekend and we took Ralph for a somewhat unenthusiastic walk on the beach (we did the walking, he wanted to be carried!) and on Sunday we had a lovely late breafast by the river before she had to head home.
Still working through my Thirty Before 30 list…not long to go now 🙂
A new addition to the family
The animal family that is!
I decided to take advantage of the long weekend and visit Dad (this means I can also cross off no. 24 off my Thirty Before 30 list!) and this is the gorgeous little angus heifer that I have adopted.
She was so inquisitive and almost came right up to the camera, so I like to think that she chose me.
In this earlier post I was just beginning my countdown to 30. I had compiled a list of thirty, easily achievable things (in no particular order) that I wanted to accomplish and here is where I’ll keep you posted with my progress 🙂

Thirty before 30
In just thirty days I will be turning 30. OMG. Yeah it really is like whoa.
In one way it’s rather terrifying to me how fast the last few years have just seemed to disappear, but in another, I kind of am looking forward to reaching another milestone. Maybe even a little excited 🙂
Life is just SO GOOD right now.
As I begin the countdown to three zero…I have put together a list of thirty, easily achievable things (in no particular order) that I’d like to accomplish within the next 30 days.
